Precision Parts
All parts start with a machined blank from bar stock, with starting bar diameters generally ranging from 1/8" to 5/8". Diameters as small as 1/16" and as large as 1-1/4" can also be accomodated. A full range of steels are used, including alloys, stainless, high temperature, and exotic metals such as Inconel, Waspaloy, and L-605. Studs are manufactured with one, two, or three different threads on each, and the blanks are precision machined to allow pitch diameters as close as +/- .0001 inch. Bushings, straight pins, and shouldered pins are manufactured with a +/- .0005 tolerance on diameters.

Bland is capable of producing studs with special configurations and secondary forming, such as: shouldered studs; drilled studs; and studs with locking features or wrench pads.
