Rooftop Systems: These solar systems are installed directly on the building’s roof to capture solar energy. They come in different shapes and sizes depending on your needs and preferences.
Ground-mounted Systems: These systems utilize ground space for installation, allowing for larger arrays than what is available with roof-mounted systems.

How can we help?
Have Questions? Well, We Have Answers.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF SOLAR POWER VS. UTILITY POWER?
Utilizing the most abundant form of energy on earth, solar power systems are energy- and cost-efficient for many homes—but they are not the right solution for every home. As a homeowner, you deserve to know all of your options so that you can make an informed decision. We’re here to help you evaluate your choices and make the best selection for your circumstances.
SHOULD I GO SOLAR?
With your utility company, you are required to pay your electric bill, you are not given a choice in power companies or the rate at which you are charged, and you don’t build equity by paying your bill. Solar power offers the option to reclaim some control of your energy costs while reducing the influence of your utility company—for many families, it’s a win-win situation. Our team of experts will help you find your win-win, whatever that looks like for you.
SHOULD I OWN, LOAN, OR LEASE?
It’s important to carefully consider the benefits of owning and leasing your solar system because once the installation begins, it can be difficult to change course. We’ll give you a side-by-side comparison of the solar power system options for your home and help you find the perfect fit for your situation. Take your time, do your research, and contact our team to get started on your free estimate—we’re here to help you save with solar.
WHAT BRAND OF SOLAR PANELS DOES BLAND CARRIER?
In some cases, if your AC requires frequent repairs, in the long run, it’s cheaper to replace the entire system instead of repairing the failing components. We can help you determine whether or not AC replacement is the best course of action for your home cooling needs.
Lastly, when your energy bill is going up even when not changing the usage of the air conditioning system, AC replacement is the best option to save money on your electricity bills.
WHAT IS A TRUE UP BILL?
Customers who produce electricity with a solar power system enter into an annual billing cycle program with their utility company under the Net Energy Metering Agreement.
Over the course of the year, the energy that is put onto the power grid through your smart meter is tracked along with the amount of energy pulled from the grid. At the end of the annual billing cycle, the utility company sends a “true-up” bill which accounts for the “net difference” between the two. Depending on how your solar power system is designed and your usage throughout the year, you can achieve “net-zero” and only owe your utility company grid-connection fees.
WHAT IS A NEM 2.0?
Net Energy Metering (NEM) 2.0 is a policy framework in California that allows residential and commercial solar energy system owners to receive credit for the excess electricity they generate and send back to the grid. Introduced in 2016, NEM 2.0 builds upon the original NEM program by incorporating additional elements such as non-bypassable charges, time-of-use rates, and mandatory interconnection fees. Under this program, customers are billed based on the net difference between the energy they consume from the grid and the energy their solar system produces. This helps to offset their electricity bills and can significantly reduce energy costs. The implementation of NEM 2.0 ensures a more balanced and sustainable approach by addressing grid maintenance costs and encouraging energy efficiency and peak demand reduction.
